Program Description: 

In this program, we will explore the works of various influential artists, including Vincent Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, and Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, among others. We will create beautiful masterpieces using a diverse range of mediums such as Cray Pas, watercolor, acrylic paints, and acrylic ink. Additionally, we will learn techniques for blending and transporting colors, and how to bring all the compositional elements together to create cohesive and compelling artworks. This journey will not only introduce you to different artistic styles and techniques but also provide hands-on experience in crafting your own unique pieces.


Participants can:

-Express themselves through art

-Learn a new creative medium

-Practice art in a safe, social space

Masila Rrumbullaku |LiveWell Faculty

Masila's journey with her traveling paint night business, Swatchandpaint, is truly inspiring. Transitioning to online art classes during the pandemic not only showcased her adaptability but also opened up new avenues for connecting with people globally. With 12 years of experience in Therapeutic Recreation, Masila's understanding of her clients' backgrounds enriches her artistic approach, allowing her to create meaningful memories through art.

Her proficiency in various media like watercolor, oil pastel, acrylics, and mix media abstract art adds versatility to her offerings. Masila's diverse clientele, ranging from rehabilitation centers to retirement communities, highlights her commitment to making art accessible in various settings.

Swatchandpaint's presence in CT libraries, public and private events, hospice care facilities, and home communities underscores Masila's dedication to spreading the joy of art far and wide.
