Program Description:
Explore the fascination of printing with inks and paints to create unique artwork inspired by the works of Henri Matisse. Participants will learn how to use brayers and plates for printing, cutting foam and papers for shapes in composition, and collage with a variety of printed papers from sessions. James Brunelle is the Director of the All Access Arts Program at SoCCA and is a youth and adult art instructor from Southington Community Cultural Arts.
Participants can:
-Express themselves through art
-Learn a new creative medium
-Practice art in a safe, social space

Jame Brunelle |SoCCA
James Brunelle is the Director of the All Access Arts Program at SoCCA and is a youth and adult art instructor from Southington Community Cultural Arts. James has administrative employment history working with regional non-profit art centers, museums, public and private schools in outreach education, administrative program coordination, and studio management. James also continues ongoing professional associations with Gordon Fine Arts Gallery, Stamford, CT, contracts preparatory and auction work with Trinity International Auctions, Avon, CT, and is an active Board Member and Studio Manager with Art League New Britain, New Britain, CT.
