Program Description:
Core is often thought of as just our stomach muscles. These are just some of the muscles that make up our core, as our core muscles encompass all of our muscles that support our spine and help provide us a sturdy and stable base so that we can perform all movements of daily activities safely and efficiently. In this class we will perform exercises where we must engage our core first to then perform big movements we often do in everyday life such as pushing, pulling, and squatting. Exercises will be done using all sorts of external challenges as resistance including our own body weight.
In this program, you will:
- Increase strength in your core muscles
- Expand your movement toolbox with confidence
- Consider ways to apply this everyday movements
- Enjoy increased stability
