Program Description:
This program is designed exclusively for individuals experiencing mild to moderate cognitive change to stimulate thinking and promote connection with others in a fun, social, and relaxed atmosphere. Activities are designed to meaningfully highlight each person’s individual interests and strengths by drawing from a wide variety of topics including art, history, travel, and literature as well as fitness and music. This group is social in nature but prioritizes engaging with each individual to create a meaningful experience.

Facilitator Biography

Brian Connolly |Community Engagement Partner
Brian has been passionate about community education, advocacy, and empowerment for the past 40 years. Through a diversity of roles; Chair of the Hartford Hospital Stroke and Family Advisory Council, Director of Marketing and Communication, elected member of the Farmington Town Council, and pioneer member of the LiveWell Resilient Living Center Faculty leading Social Cafés, Meet-Ups and cognitive programming. Brian focuses his attention on understanding what’s needed to create situations where we can all grow into our highest potential.

Brian’s superpower is being present and creating the perfect moment to make anyone smile. He lives with his wife in Farmington.
