Program Description:

Supported by trained facilitators, the Brick-by-Brick® program offers participants positive, meaningful social experiences in an understanding, playful and accepting environment. Brick Club supports its members to collaborate, communicate, problem-solve and share fun experiences all through collaborative LEGO® construction.

Facilitator Biography
Kathi Krivanec

Kathi has been an Occupational Therapy Practitioner in CT for 30 years, having worked with many different populations. Currently she is the Fieldwork Coordinator at Goodwin University for the Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Introduced to Brick Clubs through The Miracle League of CT, Kathi obtained her Brick by Brick by Brick Certified Facilitator training in July of 2022 followed by a trip to Cambridge England in September of 2022 to obtain her Advanced Facilitator training through Play Included, the only Lego Foundation approved training program.

Kathi has been facilitating brick clubs since January of 2023 in collaboration with The Miracle League of CT and Creative Development, LLC. Through this experience, Kathi has developed an interest in expanding her facilitation to bring brick building events to a variety of new settings, from intergenerational building sessions to team building events.
