Program Description:

This small group class will introduce wheel throwing, a process of forming clay into shapes on a potter’s wheel. It is a common technique for making ceramic mugs, bowls, and plates. Instructors will demonstrate hand-building, the use of the slab roller, and guide glazing and finishing your work.

No prior art experience is necessary; our focus is on fostering a sense of joy and accomplishment through the act of creating. Join us for an enriching experience that transcends traditional boundaries, where each creation becomes a celebration of individuality, encouraging self-expression and promoting a sense of community within our studio.

This program will demonstrate:
- Hand-building
The use of a slab roller
- Guide glazing and finishing your work
