Program Description: 

This course reflects evidenced-based recommendations from behavioral neurologists and neuropsychiatrists specifically focused on improving brain health and overall wellbeing. Participate in this enlivening group to learn techniques to make progress with your own routines in a friendly, supportive, and open environment for learning. Course work is adapted to meet your specific goals whether you are taking active steps to prevent dementia,  living with a diagnosis, or caring for or supporting someone living with cognitive changes.

Facilitator Biography

Jenn Terray MSN/RN/BC-NC | Wellbeing Director of Integrated Health Coaching
 Jenn has been partnering with people living with dementia and those who love them for the past 30-years. As a registered nurse, she has cultivated a high level of awareness and rich body of resources to support people both clinically and in their overall wellbeing from early on in their diagnosis through to end of life. She is a qualified teacher of MBSR- Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and uses these practices in her everyday living. “Every day is an opportunity to learn something from people living with dementia, and those directly supporting them. By practicing being aware of what is happening in the present moment, those opportunities are more abundant.” Jenn is a pioneer member of The LiveWell Institute and The Wellbeing Director of Integrative Healthy Coaching taking an active role in co-designing programs for post-diagnostic living that highlight developing habits to support well-being. Jenn is the proud mother of two adult son’s and enjoys running, yoga, hiking and exploring nature with her husband, Mike and dog, Blitz.
