Class Description: This small group class will introduce wheel throwing, a process of forming clay into shapes on a potter’s wheel. It is a common technique for making ceramic mugs, bowls, and plates. Instructors will demonstrate and guide glazing and finishing your work. No prior art experience is necessary; our focus is on fostering a sense of joy and accomplishment through the act of creating. Class includes time for set up/cleaning. Firing fees and clay included.
