Program Description:
Are you a seafood lover but would like to learn more about the foods you eat? Join us for a night of tasting, technique, and a deeper appreciation of where your seafood comes from and how it gets to your plate. This class will be in collaboration with Gulf Shrimp in Plantsville, Connecticut, and will feature fishing butchering, shellfish cleaning techniques, hands on learning, and of course plenty of samples to taste.
Sam Johnson | Culinary Experience Co-Lead
Sam has always had a passion for cooking and bringing joy into people’s lives through food. Coming up and working in many local restaurants, Sam honed his skills and fell in love with cooking, but there was a personal touch missing. Working at LiveWell allows him to make personal connections, encourage people to thrive, and provide new and delicious foods every day.
Sam’s superpower is his ability to make even the smallest moments special and worth remembering.
