Reading Club Description: 
Join our unique reading club where participants do not necessarily read the same book! Members can read whatever they’d like based on their interests, skill level and what they are comfortable reading. It could be a book, magazine, article or poem!  Share about a chapter or about what you’ve read so far. The idea of this club is that you share whatever you are reading and the group will discuss. Everyone gets to speak if they choose. 
Everyone gets to respond or comment if they choose. 

Join Reading Club to: 
- Create a community where it is safe to share and be heard without judgement. 
- Encourage reading. 
- Stimulate conversation. 
- Discover and share common interests. 
- Create opportunities to lead, be recognized and be heard. 
- Create opportunities to share ideas, reflect and speculate. 

Facilitator Biography

Brian Connolly | Community Engagement Partner
Brian has been passionate about community education, advocacy, and empowerment for the past 40 years. Through a diversity of roles; Chair of the Hartford Hospital Stroke and Family Advisory Council, Director of Marketing and Communication, elected member of the Farmington Town Council, and pioneer member of the LiveWell Resilient Living Center Faculty leading Social Café’s, Meet-Up’s and cognitive programming, Brian focuses his attention on understanding what’s needed to create situations where we can all grow into our highest potential.

Brian’s superpower is being present and creating the perfect moment to make anyone smile. He lives with his wife in Farmington.
