Program Description:
Music therapy is an allied health profession that uses music to address a range of client needs. Few things can make us feel alive the way music can; as music simultaneously activates a multitude of neural pathways, it can act as a “back door” for accessing memories and skills.
At LiveWell, our licensed board-certified music therapists focus on the whole person, leveraging strengths and skills in partnership. We work with you and your family to holistically support each person’s unique needs with the therapeutic power of music.
Session Delivery:
Music Therapy sessions will be private pay, and in some cases you may request reimbursement from your insurance provider. Sessions can take place at LiveWell’s Resilient Living Center centrally located in Plantsville, CT, in your home, or via internet video conferencing.
