Program Description:
Let’s go LiveWell employees! Yes, HIIT stands for high intensity interval training. This class will be in a small group setting, where we will rotate throughout the class, station to station, performing big strength training movements challenging our muscular and cardiovascular systems. We will be using tools such as dumbbells, kettlebells, medicine balls, and our own body weight. Challenge is relative and will match the fitness level of each group member. Be ready to work alongside each other sharing a lot of camaraderie and mutual effort to achieve the common goal of getting through the workout feeling good and sharing the feeling of accomplishment.
In this program, you will:
- Employ strategies to build physical strength
- Expand your movement toolbox with confidence
- Consider ways to apply this everyday movements
- Enjoy personalized attention from the trainer
Facilitator Biography
Tyler McCauley |Wellbeing Director of Fitness and Movement
Tyler has been involved in the Fitness and Wellness industry in a variety of ways for the past 27 years. As a Personal Trainer, Health Club Owner and Manager and Executive Director, he believes in the ability of all bodies regardless of age, to flourish given the right support.
He has had the privilege of training diverse populations; Olympic athletes, celebrities, older adults and those living with physical disabilities as well as some of the top orthopedic professionals throughout his career. As the Wellness Director of Fitness and Movement at LiveWell, he is passionate about creating opportunities to challenge stereotypes around physical fitness and aging.
Tyler holds a BS, MBA and personal training certifications through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), National Sports Performance Association (CSAC), and a second level Resistance Training Specialist (RTS II). Tyler has a very busy family life making sure he attends every sporting event of his three children.
