Program Description:
“Our experiences are always teaching us, as incentives for growth. It can help to develop peace and strength. If you are peaceful, you can have strength”.

Inspired by the book “Ten Thousand Joys, Ten Thousand Sorrows; A Couple’s Journey through Alzheimer’s.” by Olivia Ames Hoblitzelle, this course introduces you to simple and applicable tools to use mindfulness in everyday life. Mindfulness is about paying attention, in the moment without any judgement. It is a research-based set of practices to support focus and positive mental health.
This is a great next step from Lifestyle for Healthy Habits Course and a lovely option for couples to enjoy together.

While mindful practice originated from Buddhist beliefs, our practice is non- religious and inclusive. No mindfulness experience necessary.

This course uses sitting and moving practices adapted for every body to:
- Improve concentration
Become more aware of yourself and your relationships
Learn practices to reduce stress
